A couple of English and foreign politicians and nobility have launched a great initiative. They are planning to ride BMW R1150GS-Adventurer motorcycles 6000 miles through Russia, from Vladivostok to St. Petersburg in order to raise money for Russian charities.
The high profile group consists of:
- Lord Nicholas Fairfax (organizer, former member of House of Lords),
- HRH Prince Michael of Kent
- Rose Cecil (professional artist ),
- Prince Nicholas von Preussen (grandson of Kaizer Wilhelm of Germany),
- Tim von Halle (investment banker),
- Victor Emery (business man, former Worldchampion bobsleigh),
- Boris Zimin (businessman),
- Ron Pape (businessman),
- Kevin Saunders (Adventure rider, holder of 2 Guinessbook world records),
- Vernon Stratton (businessman, former Worldchampion sailing).

Great to see that it's not just stars or "mad" people going for long distance motorcycle adventurer rides, but highly respected politicians and royalty!!
