This would be an interesting design that can be applied for motorcycles. Its just one of those ideas that a motorcycle jacket manufacturer needs to pick up on.

Integrated Turnsignal from Leah Beuchley
Leah Buechley Open link in a new window has designed an integrated turn signal in her jacket for bicycles, but you don't need much imagination to see this working for motorcycles. Place the LED turn signal on to the back of your motorcycle jacket and you're in business.

The control for the turn signals is in the wrist, but I'm quite sure it wouldn't take much effort to make a handlebar switch and a wireless transmission.

This would serve two purposes; 1) better visibility of the traffic behind you when turning and b) just a better visibility for traffic behind you.

Now, all we need to do is have the brake light incorporated and we'll be in up & running safely.

Mr. Dainese... are you paying attention???
